I just wanted to thank you for the training session (Friendship and Relationships Skills – Train the Trainer) you provided with Northcott last Friday. I really got a lot out of it and also just now read the attached article in Unleashed, a youth magazine. It mentions the issue of consent that you had highlighted.
I attended your (Friendship and Relationships Skills) workshop in Dubbo earlier this year and you made my world bigger.
Parent of 15 year old
Thanks you so much for your professional dedication and all the time and support you are putting in to try and help Bob and us as his parents. We particularly appreciate the time you spent to write the court report. It restores my sense of hope for Bob that you are willing to try so hard to make a difference in his life.

My daughter who has Down Syndrome has received counselling from Liz Dore on various issues, especially relationship issues and how to deal with her feelings appropriately. Danielle was instantly at ease with Liz and was able to confide and speak to Liz without any embarrassment.
Personally I would like to say that Liz is a very friendly, down to earth person enabling both myself and daughter to benefit from her well established counselling skills and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anybody and have done on a few occasions.
I am a 25 year old woman with Down Syndrome and would like to say, I think counselling with Liz Dore has been great. She is nice, friendly and helpful and she is easy to talk to. She is a great counsellor and has been very supportive and I would like to thank her for all her hard work and all her effort in helping me (as well as myself) and also educating me about relatinships and other things. I also liked been interviewed in the Love and Kisses DVD and it was great speaking up for people with disabilities.
I really appreciate everything that Liz Dore has helped me with, she has made me more confident and more happier. Thank you again Liz.
